Training courses have existed at the faculty of the VMK MSU for over 15 years. During this time, thousands of schoolchildren have been trained at preparatory courses, many of whom later became students of our faculty, other faculties of Moscow State University, as well as other prestigious universities in the country.

Preparation for admission

Preparation for entering the university is carried out by experienced teachers with a wealth of experience in scientific and pedagogical activities, authors of many books and teaching aids. The teaching staff of the preparatory courses are teachers from our and other faculties, as well as invited teachers from the best lyceums in Moscow, who have extensive experience working with high school students. At the preparatory courses at the university, professional preparation is carried out for the admission of schoolchildren to the best higher educational establishments country. The statistics speaks for itself - more than half of the graduates of preparatory courses from those who have submitted documents annually enter the Faculty of VMK.

Short-term courses last from 6 to 9 months, this is the best option for those who already have a good preparation (for example, thanks to tutors) and want to get acquainted with the requirements of our faculty and its specifics, as well as evaluate their capabilities. The peculiarity of short-term courses is that they help the applicant to concentrate on the knowledge that will need to be demonstrated in the entrance test.

Preparation for the exam

Preparation for the exam is the main activity of our preparatory courses. Classes are held in algebra, geometry, physics, Russian language, literature and computer science. The procedure for preparing for the Unified State Exam takes place in the form of lectures and seminars, thus preparing students for the form of education adopted in universities.

The material is presented with some periodicity, the same topics are revealed more and more deeply as the listener approaches the end of the course. The training programs consist of real tasks offered at the Unified State Examination and entrance exams of previous years. It should be noted that training in courses is much cheaper than classes with tutors.

And, finally, a series of rehearsal exams, held several times during training in an environment as close as possible to the "combat", helps to reduce the degree of excitement and even emotional stress often encountered during the entrance competitive exams.

Preparation for the Unified State Exam in Informatics is a new direction that is actively developing in our preparatory courses. Semi-annual and annual courses have been developed to prepare for admission to a university in USE results in informatics. The first graduates who successfully completed the preparatory courses and the program in informatics have already passed the Unified State Examination brilliantly and entered our faculty, other faculties of Moscow State University and other universities.
