You can find in books, on forums and simply in conversations of people who practice Reiki that they have been working remotely even at the first stage. You should not take these statements seriously, since, remember, at the first stage of Reiki there are no tools that would allow a Reiki practitioner to transmit exactly the Reiki energy at a distance.

They no longer exist simply by definition. The second stage is secret knowledge and a completely different level of access and at the same time responsibility. The system itself protects its knowledge, working methods and techniques so that they do not fall into the hands of random people. And as practice shows, random people simply do not get to the second stage, in traditional Reiki. Only at the second stage are tools given to the practitioner to work with space and time. They are given, as it should be, along with instructions on what and how it works and what and how can be done and what should not be done.

I'll repeat it again. Remember, at the first stage it is not possible to transmit Reiki at a distance. What is there? And what then do first-stage Reiki practitioners who decide to work remotely using THEIR methods convey? I think you already guessed it. Yes exactly. They transmit their life energy like ordinary people working with their life energy. These practitioners (especially men), especially at the very beginning of their attempts, may not feel that they are working with their own energy. Men - by definition, remember, they are like generators - they always give. And not to feel it at first, because in the evening they give themselves a full Reiki session (proper practitioners) and restore the completely wasted resource. The most interesting thing is that the patient will feel that he has had a session, and if he has not previously had experience of receiving energy from other Reiki practitioners (at least of the second stage), then he may well believe that they worked with him exactly according to Reiki. But. Feelings, sensations and most importantly - the result of his work will be exactly the same as what usually happens when a healer works with his energy.

Sometimes I hear, even from Reiki Masters, that at the first stage you can transmit Reiki, but under certain conditions and in a certain way. When I ask to clarify what these conditions are and what they mean, the answer I usually hear is that for remote work, the practitioner’s intention is enough and the work will begin. This is naturally not the case. And if the Master already talks about this, then it is immediately clear that he himself has not yet learned to distinguish between the work of his personal energy (which, of course, no one has canceled) with the work of Reiki energy.

Even though the intention, even the desire, even a specially invented technique (since in the tradition this is simply not the case at the first stage) will remain simply the intention to transfer Reiki energy, the desire to do a remote Reiki session and a technique that facilitates the transfer of energy, but not Reiki of course, but your own.

I have extensive experience in pulling out my Students who have completed first-stage training and experimented with remote work. When, after the crisis, we calmly begin to understand what was done and how, in not a single case, I emphasize - not a single one, as a result, there were signs of the practitioner’s work using Reiki energy. There was everything from the energy of minerals, its own vital energy, concentration and redistribution of the vital energy of patients, the use of the energies of animals, elements, energies of entities of the subtle plane, etc. Anything, but Reiki, in the form in which we are now talking about this energy, was not there and will not be could.

Let's start with a little background on this event.

This, by the way, happens very often, but let’s not talk about it now. From that time on, the girl practically did not practice, because, according to her, as soon as she started doing Reiki for herself, she became worse and worse.

After some time, she made her choice and took my first-stage training at the seminar. Due to the fact that she had something to compare with, and from the height of the fact that she had now learned to feel the flow of energies, and how it flows through the body, she, after the first initiation, concluded that this is a completely different Reiki and that this is very strong, again - in her words.

The two days of the seminar were wonderful for her. Everyone feels great in the Reiki field, especially beginners, who, as a rule, like this girl, for example, lack energy in life. It was clear to me, and I told her about this at the end of the seminar, that for her now the most difficult time in her life would come, since the usual Pictures of the World would simply collapse, and she would have to build everything anew. And this can be very, very painful. Well, imagine, a person is used to managing, but they tell him that it’s different here, that here you come and give. And that they may not take it. How does the healer’s own ego feel? And don’t forget, she was not only an active healer, but also a teacher in her field. These are two Pictures of the World, which, if destroyed, can bury even stronger people, as the same practice shows.

And so. The first Reiki Circle is in about three weeks. We all meet and share our work, the who, what and how, where, what time and when, in general, those who understood what and how at the seminar. Everything seems fine, but I feel that the girl is not there, no, and she is taking her into her past. In the place where she wasted her own energy almost ineptly, which, in general, undermined her. I try my best to convey to her consciousness what and where she is doing wrong. I seemed to understand everything. End of the Circle. We hug and say goodbye.

Needless to say, none of us found any signs of working specifically with Reiki. We told her honestly about this. Remember that I said that this girl was undergoing a restructuring of thoughts and emotions. What was it? The fact is that she has already begun to consider herself a great healer and a great teacher, rolled into one. She stated right out of the gate that she wanted to become the Master of ALL ENERGIES. Well, we, mortals, tell this great man that something is not working out for her. The result was not long in coming. She didn’t come to the next Circle, and, by the way, she didn’t hug after the end either.

Sometimes it happens.

When a person comes to me and says that he knows nothing about energies, and has never done anything like that, I tell him that this is just great. A clean slate is what is needed. This is, as they say, optimal. And imagine how strong this man’s guardian angel is, which led him immediately to one of the oldest systems of working with energy and to one of the most effective and safe, as we have already seen in our native system.
